I’m a Witterings Based artist inspired by the coast. I set up Sea Change Designs in 2020 and have never looked back. Art and design has always been my passion and I love trying new techniques using anything I can find at the beach including sea glass, shells and beach plastic. However creating resin oceans have become one of my favourites things to do. I have a selection of readymade pieces, but I love to work on commissions too.

As a mum of two and an accredited therapist, I’m passionate about growth, expression, and well-being – though time is always limited! However, 2025 marks a new chapter where I’m blending my passions with creativity. After a day of offering therapy or spending time with my family, I’m channeling those experiences into traditional art forms. I’m excited to share these works, (usually only drawn for family) which are inspired by both my professional journey, my life at home, and gifts.
Additionally, I’m now offering commissions for…
-Sketches and watercolours that capture a sentimental part of childhood – the beloved teddies that were once carried everywhere, but are now treasured memories as children grow older. These pieces serve as a heartfelt tribute to those cherished companions that accompany us through their childhood, long after they are no longer part of the daily routine.
-Also, I offer unique commissions for flowers of the month, ideal for celebrating birthdays or births. These floral drawings can include names, birthdates, or even special messages, such as those encoded in Morse code, adding a deeply personal touch to each piece.

I am a semi abstract artist working mainly in oil pastels, chalk pastels, watercolours and mixed media.
My inspirations are the sea, the countryside and how they are occupied by people and animals. This comes from a love of walking in the South Downs and the Loire Valley and wild swimming.
I am inspired by the power, natural and imagined hues of nature and the ways we and the animals we share our lives with, interact with it. My paintings depict real and imagined landscapes.
I work from the photographs I take, from sketches and from the feelings evoked by found objects and materials. When I paint I use multiple layers of pastels, adding mixed media, charcoal, pencil and blurring and blending with my fingers and found objects. In this way my paintings have a depth of field and agency, textures, interleaved with light and movement.
I work from the studio in my attic in Felpham overlooking the sea and in Loire Valley. I have exhibited in the Peggy Jay Gallery in Hampstead, The Landmark Arts Centre in Richmond-Upon-Thames and widely in Sussex

It all started after I retired from my job as a Registered Nurse.
I felt lost, with a lot of time on my hands, my family bought me a glass painting set, and I started trying to create designs, the more I did, the better I became. I decided to try tiles, to my surprise people wanted to buy my art.
The Tilers Daughter was born!
Since then, I have gone on to sell on line, and craft fairs.

My designs are mostly made from charms which I have themed from my favourite things; sports, hobbies, books, musicals, likes etc. All charms are supplied on double loop and add on to a necklace chain. I also make cabochon which are very popular, these are mostly themed around popular quotes. I'm always around to answer any questions so please ask the ladies in the shop to contact me or pop me a message on Facebook.
